I have chosen to run the Royal Parks Half-Marathon for the Multiple Sclerosis Society for a couple of reasons. Firstly, to meet a personal fitness challenge to myself, and secondly, and most importantly, because MS is a disease that I have a very personal connection to, and this is something tangible I can do to help raise money for support programmes and research.
The MS Society relies on voluntary income to provide vital services to those affected by multiple sclerosis. Both nationally and locally, through our branch network, the MS Society is constantly striving to improve the lives of people with MS and their friends and family.
My goal for this race is to raise £400 (C$644, US$636). Please support the MS Society by sponsoring me.
